Energy conservation measures
There are an assortment of energy conservation measures (ECM) to consider when auditing a facility. In many cases, an auditor may be auditing the lighting, HVAC, compressed air, controls, and building shell components; to mention a few aspects. A quality energy auditor must be knowledgeable in the latest technologies and how they can be integrated into the existing building in a productive manner which reduces operation and maintenance costs, while reducing the overall facility energy bills. The following ideas encompass some technologies we utilitize or consider when we conduct a full scale energy audit. Click the images to examine individual ECMs in each respective category.
